Privacy Policy

We take the protection of your personal data seriously. This privacy policy explains what data we collect on digisolve.ch, why we use it and what rights you have. We comply with the revised Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

When you use the contact form on /contact we collect:

Email address (required)

Company (optional)

Content of your message

Server-side

When the website is accessed, the server briefly processes:

IP address (only for spam protection / rate-limiting on the contact form, not permanently stored)

Date and time of the request

Requested URL

Browser type (user-agent)

These log entries are automatically deleted after no more than 14 days and are not merged with other sources.

3. Purpose of processing

We use your data solely to:

Respond to inquiries submitted through the contact form

Ensure the operation and security of the website

Fulfil any legal obligations

We do not sell data to third parties. No profiling, no automated individual decision-making.

4. Legal basis

Swiss law: Art. 31 para. 1 and 2 FADP (processing in the context of pre-contractual measures and legitimate interest in secure operation of the website).

EU law (where applicable): Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures / inquiry handling) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure operation).

5. Disclosure / processors

We only disclose your data where necessary for the purposes stated or where there is a legal basis.

Hosting

The website runs on a server located in Switzerland.

Email delivery

Messages submitted via the contact form are sent via SMTP through Infomaniak Network SA (Geneva, Switzerland). Infomaniak is a Swiss provider and processes data in Switzerland.

Fonts

We use webfonts (Bricolage Grotesque, Inter, JetBrains Mono) served directly from our own server (self-hosted). No requests to external font services are made.

6. Cookies

This website does not set tracking cookies or marketing cookies. There are no in-browser analytics tools, no re-targeting and no personalisation. Cookies are used solely for strictly necessary purposes (e.g. to store your language preference). These cookies are required for the operation of the site and cannot be declined.

7. Google Search Console

We use Google Search Console to monitor our visibility in Google Search. Domain ownership is verified through a passive meta tag in the HTML head. No cookies are set and no personal data is collected client-side. The statistical data (clicks, impressions, search queries) is aggregated server-side by Google from the general search results and provided to us in aggregated form.

8. Retention

Contact inquiries: as long as needed to fully handle the matter, at most 24 months from the last contact.

Server logs: at most 14 days.

Business records arising from email correspondence are subject to retention obligations under the Swiss Code of Obligations (10 years).

11. Data security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data. These include TLS encryption of the entire website (HTTPS), a secure server configuration, regular security updates and a restrictive access concept.

We reserve the right to amend this privacy policy at any time should legal requirements or our data processing change. The current version is always available on this page.
